A non news of any description day. Apart from a conversation with a friend (in her early 30s) about the use of filters on Instagram to make faces look in my mind weird! I did not realise that there is a filter that puts make up on you and gives you lips that look nothing like yourself. I don't get all this false looks - massive blocked eyebrows, contouring, nails like vultures talons. (Prob cos I have a phobia of long nails)! If only young girls realised how beautiful they are as their natural selfs without mega amounts of make up. But then I’m prob classed as old fashioned. Was it the Kardashions that started this? Can’t recall.

Watched an interest programme on BBC Scotland about this inspiring woman trying to inject new blood into Clydesdale horses in Scotland and the lack of horses mean the stock is becoming inbred and many death of foals. This History of this breed is fascinating. She went over to Canada to choose and bring back a mare and the one she chose was Amber who was already in foal. The birth of the foal was nerve racking to say the least :(
