This pear tree is a young one in our back garden. We planted it in memory of Skye, our lurcher, when we sadly lost her 5 years ago. It was this time of year that she passed on, and the fruit trees were all in blossom. So we chose the pear tree because I have a love for their shape and the white blossoms.

This one is really healthy and its a fab reminder of what a special dog she was. The blossom in this photo is the first clump to be opening their petals.
