Grove

Trying to get a sampling of the trees I have planted here. By my count, there are around 100. Most of these, and many others close by, are almost 22 years old, planted in the winter and spring of 1999. Pine, fir, maple, cedar, hemlock, birch, poplar, dogwood osier, ash. We have created our own little forest here, some trees 30-40 feet tall. We take them for granted much of the time, but today I remembered.
