Snowy Birch Wood

More snow overnight. At morning coffee time, I dash out to a local birch wood to get the blip of the trees with snow on as the wind has become a bit stronger and the snow won't be there for long. Quite fun trudging through the deep snow on the lunchtime walk. The clouds have cleared a little. bit of a hassle late afternoon when a neighbours cat broke the clear plastic door on the cat flap. I manage to tape it together so the cold wind doesn't whistle through the house. Very cold in the evening, the small amount of snow melt will freeze into an ice rink.
