Lamplight - Moonlight Sonata
Figgate Burn, Portobello Beach
Straight out of the front door, a right and then a left and you're at the beach (ok, there's a wee bit of distance between the turns). The moon was big and orange and low, but I didn't have the right lens with me so that will be another night's wander.
The burn was gushing onto the beach tonight, spreading itself across the sands a few metres wide. The moonlight was the perfect reflector for the water with the lights of Prestonpans, Cockenzie and Musselburgh lighting the horizon.
