Rainbow over the hills

We woke to a light dusting of snow on the hills and an icy road.  The sun soon melted the ice and the day was a mixture of sun, cloud and rain.  Our grandson had a short trike ride in the morning and then an excursion to the local playground.

I quickly popped down to the allotment to pick some brussel sprouts and was caught in some rain but there was a lovely rainbow shortly after my return.  Seems like we missed the snow that has caught a lot of the country.
