Back blip

Was very happy to see this weekend after a busy week.  

An aborted attempt to have 3 slabs replaced on our patio this morning. Aborted because the chap delivering them and placing them broke one while hammering it into position! Of course with all non-essential shops closed at the weekend, it won't be finished till Monday now till he can pick up another slab.

Eventually set up my new mobile this afternoon too. My old one with a tiny 4gb memory, which has served me very well for a good few years, reached the end of its life. No memory meant it was impossible to anything and it wasn't holding the battery anymore either.  We don't have expensive phones, mainly due to living in Barcelona and travelling to places where they may get stolen.  The guy in our local shop is very helpful and copied everything over for me and it all worked fine, apart from losing a month of WhatsApp messages as it hadn't been backed up due to low memory.  Now I can take photos with my phone again instead of having to borrow Bb's when we're out for a walk. Yay! 

Food shopping, a walk, and dinner of a cheese board, hams, pate and bread and a lovely Zoom catch up with Dot in Edinburgh finished the day off nicely.
