Rose hip in the snow

We had overnight snow, the extra shows how much.  The rose hips looked bright and cheery despite the cold.  It barely thawed all day and now the ice/snow is frozen hard again.  The builder is due to come tomorrow to start on a new stone wall, but I think he might be rained frozen off.
