Farmyard

The threatened snow passed us by again. A few desultory flurries in amongst the icy rain was as close as we got to any snow.

As has become customary on recent Sundays we had a brunch with porridge, kippers, croissants, fruit and coffee which fortified us for a rather uninspiring tramp around the damp lanes around the North Downs ending up at Tesco’s for a Burns Night haggis tomorrow evening. The neeps and spuds are from the allotment and we’ll round off the evening with clootie dumpling.

We’ve passed this farm countless times in recent months, every time I’ve peered over the fence and noted the abandoned equipment which is apparent on many farms. At least it provides a blip.

Glad you enjoyed yesterday’s blip of the railway. It’ll be good to get back there and even better when we find the house we’re after in Tenterden.

Thanks for hosting Derelict Sunday Marlieske.
