2016-05-21 (Day 142) River Spirit

Driving along a country road in Clackmannanshire today, it crossed another country road at a roundabout. And there was an Andy Scott status I didn't konw about.

It's not uncommon to see statues in roundabouts at busy junctions, but this looked a really quiet road (of course, it may be considerably different at rudsh hour during the week).

Anyway, this lady is called "River Spirit", and in her hands she holds a representation of the River Forth as it flows from Stirling towards the sea.

This 2011 statue was the first of Andy Scott's works in Clackmannanshire, and has been followed by several since.
