Happy birthday

It’s R’s birthday today. We were involved in a WhatsApp call to her and some of her friends to sing happy birthday this morning at 10am. This meant an early rise for me, so as to be washed and dressed!!! I needn’t have worried as several people were in their pj’s.

R and S stopped off on their way back from their walk to deliver cake. She had received two cakes, a chocolate one and this blue one. We have eaten our chocolate portion with a cup of tea this afternoon and will have a portion of blue after dinner!! Cake twice in one day ......!!!!!
