I bought an electric wheelchair on line last year. It was a considered purchase and it was coming from China, but it was the right construction so we gave it a go. There were many emails backwards and forwards from the company as it could not be sent by air, but in the end we decided to go ahead with it. Then there was a delay. Then there was an email to say that it had been broken in the factory (?) and not to accept it when it arrived. They would send another which would arrive in 222 days.
222 days was less than acceptable so said not to bother sending a replacement and we would have our money back.
Then it (the first one?) arrived and I spoke to the courier and they said I had to accept it but they would come and pick it back up if there was a problem.

I emailed the company and got no reply. This was in October. I waited and waited but then we opened it. Beloved plugged it in. 
It hasn't blown up.
Yet.

Sox has claimed it for keeping warm next to the radiator.
A result?
Not so sure.
