2016-03-05 (Day 065) Callendar Park

Saturday is often parkrun day, when I go to the beautiful Callendar Park to run 5km in ever-increasing times.

Normally i park at the east end of the park, and each time I go from the car to the start, I pass this statue. Yet I've not been able to find out much about the statue.

It does make me wonder if someone was having a large-scale game of Trivial Pursuit - it could also do with a wee bit of TLC.

So, does anyone know anything about this statue?
