Chaffinch

I've been doing some sewing today, just altering trousers but I'm way out of practice;  before Lockdown I would have taken them into town to be altered but as that's not possible just now, rather than wait I've done them myself.  There was a time when I did a lot of dressmaking as having 3 girls I had a lot of scope and I always enjoyed making their small outfits.  Two of them can also sew, so two out of three isn't bad.

I've been looking back at the people shots I've taken over the years, and although I always consider that I'm very much NOT a portrait photographer I'd love to be able to have a day at one of the events that used to be held.  People were always so friendly and so pleased to pose for a photo.
