Dunnock, Dickie, Hedge Sparrow...
When we were kids finding a Dickies nest with its 5-8 turquoise blue eggs was something to brag about - and you always kept it secret. Although I lived in the countryside I probably only ever found four or five. There were a few around the garden here in the early 2000's and a couple nested and successfully raised families. This one on a plough share at a nearby farm was oblivious to me and my camera, I think his mind was on other matters, like courting, nest building and associated fun.
