Bereft

I have from my workplace purchased my old Macbook as I was a good boy and kept it in near perfect condition - once I scraped off the bazillion stickers from it. 
However, the offboarding process has been far from smooth. In fact it has been near impossible to take ownership. The paperwork side has been easy. However the technical part, removing some of the security applied is impossible. Which, will require a visit to an Apple Store, if they ever open again. 
Passing by sees that the Apple Store are not planning to open their doors anytime soon, clearing the decks to in an attempt at loss prevention.
