Another day off today, this one spent doing grandma duties, an early start as Gemma was on the night shift so I have to be there before Ben leaves for work at 6.30. The snow from last night was covering my car but already starting to melt, I was able to just sweep it off with a brush. The day was all about playing games, doing jigsaws, reading stories, helping Thomas with his home schooling, generally keeping the noise down so that Gemma could snatch some sleep, then when Gemma got up Chloe went for a nap so we played football billionaire a game Thomas got for Christmas that he loves and I’d promised to play it with him. It’s a little like monopoly buying and selling players and building a team, Thomas is really good at understanding the best way to play and at adding up all his winnings!
