John Lewis day

I took the day off today and thank goodness I did.  The day was a whirl!  Carers in the morning, delivery of Fizz’s dressing table from Jono and Sue followed by the John Lewis delivery of new twin beds for Mum and Dad and removal of the old one. Followed by Sam the removal man who moved Mum’s huge heavy dressing table out and the grandfather clock downstairs.  I then remade the beds with new sheets and duvets and ended the day with persuading my parents into them.  They were delighted by the mattresses but a bit anxious about the changes. I shut the door on them chatting it through....hope they sleep well!
