Bay of Islands

We have been on a day long boat trip with stop offs at a couple of the 144 islands that make up the Bay of Islands.
In other news NZ has 1 community Covid case who returned from overseas at the end of Dec, went into isolation, returned 2 negative tests before leaving after 14 days but has now become symtpmatic and tested positive. She has visited a few places in Northland on her way home. Fortunately she has been very diligent at using the tracing app so the authorities have a good handle on where she has been. We have our fingers crossed that the virus doesn't spread and Northland doesn't go into lockdown as we are here to attend a wedding on Wednesday. The grooms parents flew in from Brisbane and have also been in isolation for 14 days but are now out after returning 2 negative tests.
