Proof of Winter

This is a view of Mt Jefferson from the hills around Mt. Hood.  There is snow on the mountains which is good.  The actual road I was skiing also had snow, but the amount was low due to recent rains.  That is worrying.  However, there was great celebration of winter-type activity at every place where cars could park.  The downhill ski areas were packed and many many people were sledding, walking and snowshoeing in the sunshine.
