ITS WHATS ON THE INSIDE THAT COUNTS

Had a parcel delivery this morning - from Ted Baker.  As every cat owner knows when there is a new box in the house it won't be long before its occupied by a cat.  So Lily was first in the queue to jump into the Ted Baker box.  I thought the message on the lid was very appropriate.

Had a nice lazy day indoors today.  Weather was dry but VERY cold. Made corned beef hash for my tea - very tasty.

Football this evening. I watched on my computer.  Aston Villa V Newcastle.  8pm kick off.  By 12 mins past 8 Newcastle were one nil down.  It didn't get any better and the final score was Aston Villa 2 Newcastle 0.  A couple of quotes from the Sky commentators  .... " Newcastle are sleepwalking into another relegation dogfight "  and  " Newcastle used to be a decent team with something about them, a team worth watching  - but now they are just plain boring and are on a downward spiral". I would certainly agree with those comments.  Its just torture watching them these days as they are so poor.  They don't have any players who are up to standard and they are outclassed every time they play.  No idea how they can get back to winning ways as the manager seems to have no clue.
