If only we're brave enough to be it

Like many people we watched the US inauguration, quite wonderful to see Kamala Harris gracefully flying through several glass ceilings. 

The moment and the times were best captured for me by Amanda Gorman, the extraordinary 22-year old poet - her words ended with: "For there is always light. If only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we’re brave enough to be it."

She stands on the shoulders poets and orators or the past, particularly those I've pictured.
