Frosty Morning

Took a while to get going this morning. Eventually managed to go for a run. The ground was very hard but good to have a change from the ankle deep mud.

This is the view from the castle moat across the valley and railway to a very frosty Beacon Hill. Originally there would have been another wooden fortification to guard the valley. However only one was developed into a stone castle.
