Skin

Another wintry day, a few light flurries of snow and a skin of ice on the ponds. 

I walked a moderate loop out to the cabins and back, my knee still complaining about last Sunday’s expedition. Lots of grouse about and wrens, as always, chipping away from their hiding places in the bracken. Surprise of the day was a Sgwarnog but it soon bounded off through the bracken.
