The ceiling in the newly constructed arrival hall at Johannesburg's O.R Tambo International Airport sports this grand, enormous structure.

Part space ship, part larvae and rugby ball, it will welcome many thousands of international visitors next year for the Soccer World Cup.

I am so thrilled to have both feet on terra firma, I'm even more thrilled that I'm not the guy responsible for changing that burnt out light bulb. Now the serious visiting shall commence, starting with this ice cold Windhoek Lager that my sis just plunked down next to me!
