The Chicks Have Flown

All the chicks have flown the nest again, after coming home for their grandad’s funeral.
They’ve all been fantastic, but Miss M has been especially wonderful, staying home after Christmas to help us through my operation and the funeral. She has coordinated the menu, ordered all the shopping and done most of the cooking. She’s been such a support to us both.
We will miss them all and of course, have no idea when we’ll next we able to see them. Hopefully it won’t be too long.
