too busy to notice

This male spotted towhee was singing his heart out and didn't notice how close I was getting with my camera. Ah, I love spring time and crazy animal behavior that goes with it.
Although maybe he was just singing his thanks for a glimpse of blue sky before the afternoon snow storm moved in. It is a stretch to think that spring is here already.
Whatever the reason for his distraction, I was pleased to get a good look at him. Usually I can only hear the towhees rustling among the leaves under bushes, and rarely do I see them, especially sitting still.
