Screwtop

A productive day in that after attending to the usual chores, I lifted some patio setts and by repurposing a hose that I fetched from the boat, I succeeded in directing the underground stream into one of my rodding holes. Indeed. I also got my Christmas mushroom kit up and running. I expect great things. Or failing that, mushrooms.
This productivity was aided to a large degree by being roused from slumbers at the ridiculous time of 8:25am by a loud knocking (the doorbell has yet to be rung by anyone). But lo! Most unusually, it was a delivery for me! Sometime after I got my boat y’see, m’lady went a-googling and found Rascallion Wines from South Africa, but after contacting the owner was told that sadly they didn’t have a UK distributor. Fast forward two years and they do, so obviously I had to do the decent thing. To be continued…
