Well, it worked with the Christmas cake .....

I managed to make my Christmas cake last three weeks by cooking it as 22 separate little cakes. Today I made my first Lemon Drizzle cake. Couldn't do it as small cakes, but I did cut it into 12 portions and hope to ration myself to one a day! Trouble is - rich fruit cake keeps fresh for a lot longer than sponge cake! So I've put four in the cake tin and frozen the other eight - one to be removed from freezer at a time. Will it work or am I overestimating my will-power? Only the bathroom scales will tell!
