O Rose Marie I Love You

Oh Rose Marie I love you
I'm always dreaming of you
No matter what I do I can't forget you
Sometimes I wish that I'd never met you

With apologies to Slim Whitman and his famous No. 1 of 1955, this Rosemary here was probably the highlight of my day so far.

Here emergeth from the oven tonight, MrsB's bake on Nigella's famous Rosemary Remembrance Cake. The original recipe is strictly speaking in memory of her maternal grandmother, but I dedicate MrsB's version to the memory of Slim, a name long-gone in more than one way in our house.

Postscript: MrsB just read my blip and her words "why don't you speak for yourself" require this qualification on that last sentence: For 'our', read 'my'. She didn't say "you can't have your cake and eat it", but I got the message.
