Back in Lockdown...

Yesterday 4 cases of Covid with unknown origin were found so we’re more or less in lockdown. More detail will follow in the lunchtime media briefing. I believe half the population are now queueing outside supermarkets... I meant to go food shopping this morning but will make do with what I have for a few days. I have plenty of wine but NO CHOCOLATE. That could cause an emergency situation.
So today blip pic is the cover of the book I took the story of today’s Guernseyman. Not a major achievement though very important back when he came up with the idea.

He was advanced to a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire while serving as Director of Civil Aviation in the British Mandate of Palestine from 1934 until his retirement in 1947.
