One horned Rhino
This little trinket was part of my beginning in photography as a hobby.
In September 2000 I went to Nepal on a birding trip and it occurred to me that this was such a major trip I should have some record of it. So I bought my first digital camera.
Flew to Kathmandu and stayed for the first 3 days at a resort just outside. There was a small shop at the entrance to the resort selling a whole range of goods and also advertised internet services. I used a rather grubby and battered computer to sent an email to my family just to confirm that I had arrived O.K. .I offered to pay with a note of a large denomination for which the shopkeeper had no change so I bought this little trinket and a buddha keyring which is my second photo to save his embarrassment.
I have since been to India, China (twice), Thailand, Greece and Vietnam and always with a camera.
