An eventful ride...
...but it was good to get out on the bikes, as there was sunshine on Leith Ingbirchworth...
Still a spot of ice about this aft, but we managed fine. Passed a field full of squawking Guinea Fowl on our way back from Upper Denby, and bagged the blip looking across to Emley Moor mast on the way up Windmill Lane. The road along the tops was running with water, and even though I pulled in to let a car pass he shot along really fast so I got soaked! A Barn Owl bonus on the way along to Horn Lane though, so that was OK ;) The road round the res was hub deep in places - but it was good to get out after a couple of days confined to home... The forecast for tomorrow is OK too, so we might do similar...
Drove Roy down to Penistone this morning as I hadn't driven for weeks - I'm in danger of forgetting how! He picked up our order from the butcher's, so that's us set up for another few weeks ;)
