Scarlet elf cup

Spotted these fungi on my walk this afternoon. Very colourful.

Discovered last night that there’d been a mixup at the farm shop. We came away with most of the things that another customer had ordered - and not our order. So a quick swap from the planned liver and onions to bangers and mash for tea. I sent them a Facebook message, and apparently our package was still in the shop. And because of Covid they couldn’t take our bag back, so keep it and pop back for our order. I’d assumed the bags had got mixed (and imagined the reaction of the other customer discovering liver and shin of beef instead of lamb chops and gammon steaks). So our freezer will be even better stocked than we planned!
