Garadhban Forest

Another beautiful day today, and although cold it was fine walking in the sun. We had coffee at the Buchanan Arms Hotel before starting our walk up through the Garadhban Forest. There is a lot of forestry work going on at the moment, a lot of tree cutting, but we were able to walk through. Had some fine views of Loch Lomond in the distance, before turning back towards Milton of Buchanan, and along to the ruins of Buchanan Castle and up to the Home Farm, before arriving back at Drymen and welcome drinks back in the hotel.

Fantastic day out, eight very pleasant miles in very good company.
