Snow melts and the first Snowdrops emerge in an area that gets the most of any sun, weeks ahead of other parts of the garden.

The last few days have been bright and sunny with more light thanks to the substantial snow cover.

Days are lengthening and a corner has been turned as we leave the bleak midwinter behind.
