Golden Light Through Trees on a Winter Afternoon

My husband and I had errands in town, but on our way home, we stopped for a little hike at a rural park along route 550. I had brought my new boots along, and I put them on, and walked on grass, in mud, through water, and into snow! So they have been thoroughly vetted at this point!

Temperatures were mild and it was as fine a winter day as I can remember. The sun was shining, and as it turned into late afternoon, the light and shadows among the trees were very fetching indeed. So here is a photo of the golden light through trees on a lovely winter afternoon.
