Arrived!

I woke to a message from L to say that she'd arrived in Costa Rica - and been admitted to the country! - and was in her accommodation. Fortunately, the negative Covid tests that she had before she left meant that she didn't have to quarantine. She's going to spend at least five weeks there, in the "ecological, spiritual community of PachaMama" where she had a couple of weeks in 2019. It may help her recovery from the chronic fatigue that's forced her to suspend her drama studies, and will certainly be better for her mental health than hanging around in Penicuik without the energy to fill her days the way she would want. 

After a quick trip up to the field to see the sunrise, I had a meeting with one PhD student, and no meeting with another. Then it was back to recording and editing video lectures!
