The Custom Cafe

Lockdown 3 - Day 17

I arrived at the Conquest Hospital in good time for my appointment, parked and found the Vaccination Centre easily, and it was all organised very well. As it’s a hub purely for health workers, it wasn’t too busy and I was in and out within 40 minutes. That included filling in two forms, having the jab (Pfizer), then sitting in an observation area for 15 minutes to make sure there were no adverse reactions. On my way out I booked my second vaccine which is on 18th March.

On my way home I decided to stop off for a walk at Bexhill seafront as I was passing, but I didn’t stay for long as it was so windy! I also stopped at The Custom Cafe to have a look at this old Chevy parked outside which is pretty cool.

I was home by lunch time and stopped at the Macdonalds Drive through to pick up lunch for Alan and I - we very rarely eat at Macdonalds but it was a nice treat.

Anyway, I feel fine after the vaccination, my arm aches a bit but that’s all, and I feel very pleased to have had it.
