Wanderings & Witterings

Branches

Needing a bit of variety today, I drove along to Bonnybridge and walked eastwards, for a change, towards the Falkirk Wheel.

It's about two miles along the towpath from Bonnybridge to the Wheel but, as usual with me, took longer than it ought to have done as I kept stopping to watch the birds in the water, take photos and just generally enjoy the views. Given that I didn't start until after 3pm it was approaching four by the time I reached the Wheel and beginning to get dark. (I like the idea of "beginning to" get dark as it was actually dark by then a few weeks ago.)

It was a brisker return walk in the dusk, with only brief moments of sunset colour. Managed to grab some photos of that too!
