Jen got this necklace when we were in Abu Dhabi in the Hamdan Centre. It is her name in Arabic. She has worn it every day since

I always love the story behind it. We went in to have a look and Jen decided on the necklace. We talked to the guy running the store. He tried to guess her name. First 'Nicole like Nicole Kidman?', 'No', 'Gwyneth like Gwyneth Paltrow?', 'No', 'Hmmm, Jennifer like Jennifer Lopez?' 'Yes!' From then on he only called her Jennifer Lopez.

Of course, these things have to be made to order which was a problem as we were leaving to go back to the UK 2 days later. This was tough but he gave his word it would be ready in time. Being very British we said 'but if it isn't we get our money back right?'. There was no question in his mind that it wouldn't be ready so he wouldn't answer this question.

When we did return to the shop he immediately recognised use and shouted 'Ah! Jennifer Lopez! I have your necklace ready!'Sometimes you just have to trust people. He did a fantastic job with it and it really is a brilliant souvenir to bring back with us.

We have since had it confirmed that it does indeed say Jennifer which, although we knew it would, was reassuring!
