Night nurse...

It’s been a rough night and day for me today. Struggled to get comfortable in bed as my chest hurt, then had a scary painful coughing fit at 4am. Sternum fractures and coughs don’t mix. My poor little night nurse (pictured) didn’t like it either.

Followed that with dreaming about the car crash.

Wobbled badly this morning, tears, feeling ‘why me?’, think finally it’s all caught up with me.

My mum has been brilliant again and pulled me out of it. I’m grateful for her support and endless patience as I’ve really not been great company today.
