Saughton Park Bandstand in the Snow

Snow overnight meant today's planned run was replaced by a walk!   We headed along to our allotment via Saughton Park which looked lovely in the snow.   The bandstand in the photo was originally erected in 1909 but dismantled in 1987 as it had fallen into disrepair.  In 2016 it was brought back to life and out of Council storage as part of the park's restoration!   We saw a most impressive snowman in the park - the face was sculpted and he was wearing a snow top hat!
