Future fruit

The two apple trees I ordered at the New Year, arrived yesterday. One is a Cox’s Orange Pippin and the other a Egremont Russet. Both old English varieties.

I’m looking forward to planting them out at the allotment. Not sure if they will go on plot 1 or plot 2 - it depends if I decide to grow them as espaliers or as bush trees. I need to remind myself about pruning regimes for apple trees.
