ICM water and trees

I walked up to the ranges today through the various little housing estates adjacent to mine. I was delighted to see a Red Kite hover overhead, but by the time I’d swapped to a long lens it had totally disappeared :-(

Although not in the direct path of Storm Christop, the ranges themselves were showing evidence of the amount of rain we have had over the last few days, with huge puddles and flooded areas. This was an ICM shot over some of the larger ones surrounded by trees.
