Endless

The rain is endless it seems. The lane where we live thankfully doesn’t get flooded and the water runs off and down the cliffs and into the sea. The garden is very marshy and we try not to walk on the lawn. We have lived here for about 33 years and it’s only the last two that the garden has become marshy during the winter. We plan to extend the patio area in the summer which might make it easier next winter.
The rain has kept us indoors for much of today and so read the Times online. It made for quite dismal reading and together with the rain it’s been a challenge to remain positive.

There is a large Le Creuset with potatoes and many vegetables roasting in the oven which should warm us all up.
