Another heavy fall...

overnight, but this time wet stuff and then all day until about 1400 it sleeted hard. Got pretty wet even covered in waterproofs. The ice underlying the snow has now been reduced to deep slush, just as difficult to walk through but not as dangerous. 
The wee burn in the wood has filled up and is difficult to cross at the usual places.
Definitely lighter at night.
