Catkins

After yesterday's storm, a much calmer day. The paths through the wood were very muddy, with a lot of surface water. The catkins are now showing on the trees, and there are new shoots emerging along the edge of the path. Spring is still some way off, but it is encoraging to see the first signs beginning to show.
