46 years

I was reminded yesterday that it was 30 years since Alfred Wainwright died.
It was 46 years ago, as a 14 year old, that my husband went on his first school trip to Glaramara Guest house in Seatoller. That week instilled a love of the lakes that has never left him.
He kept a journal of his activities for the week and was rewarded with this book on the last day.
