'STAY'!

Foxy is pretty good at the Stay exercises at doggy school but cannot stay still when we do the exercise where they 'Sit' and 'Stay' and we walk around the dog and then around all the other dogs. This is so they stay where they've been put and not bothered by other people wandering around them.

Foxy will insist on following you when you are trying walk around him but will stay put when you walk away.
So, we had some practice with them both doing a Stay and then just walking around in a circle. Had to keep bending down to hold Foxy still while I did the circling (which made me incredibly dizzy and feeling faint) but after about 20 times he got it. Not bothered if his head swivels but his body is staying put now.

They reckon it takes 30 time to get a dog to do something so Foxy is pretty quick in getting it after 20!
